About how much energy does a 5 cubic foot “Energy-Star” efficient chest freezer use, on average? I’m moving in May and would like to take it with me to the new place. I’ve never paid electric, due to the fact that the house I am living in only has one electric meter (so the landlord pays for the electric.) If it weren’t for this fact, I would probably already know the answer to this question, but alas..I don’t. Any ideas?

Whirlpool 2 door frost-free, freezer on top. No power for a fortnight, huge growth inside freezer. It has gotten into thermal insulation, How do I remove it, or do I need to call a service engineer?
